You are hereby cordially invited to the 17th annual colliery HSEC Campaign.

Our theme for 2012 focuses on Health, Safety, Environment and Community and the Sustainability objectives and mutual goals thereof. By also focusing on Health, Environment and Community this year we aim to highlight the importance of these topics together with the existing Safety awareness. Presentations will be made on what is deemed as current “Best Practice” in our industry in the four different disciplines to ensure knowledge transfer.

We continue to base the drive on the tripartite approach as per the Mine Health and Safety Act, as amended in 2008 and intend sending a coordinated message from our industry that we are serious about health, safety, environment and community. We will also include our neighbours in Mozambique, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

As part of SACMA’s commitment to you, we have designed a conference that will provide value-for-money, real practical solutions, a great educational experience, important networking opportunities combined with some fun.
